Gold prices on Tuesday, Nov. 28, held near a 6-week high hit in the previous session, aided by a weaker dollar.
Spot gold was up 0.1% at USD 1,295.31 an ounce at during the day. On Monday, the precious metal had touched a high of USD 1,299.13 an ounce, its highest since Oct 16, while US gold futures for December delivery were unchanged at nearly at USD 1,294.80.
The Dollar index plunged under 93 marks to test its 6-week low near 92.60 levels. COMEX Gold is trading flat at USD 1293 per ounce. The MCX Gold futures closed just under Rs 29500 per 10 grams, up 0.30 percent on the day.
